Terms and Conditions
Applicable to all bookings for Paragliding, River Rafting, and Combo Packages with Thakur Paragliding and Rafting (H.P. Tourism Reg. No.: 15-47/2010/2024-KLD-TD-6527).
1. Booking and Payment
1.1. Confirmation: A minimum non-refundable advance payment (typically 25%–30% of the total cost) is required to confirm any booking. The remaining balance must be cleared upon arrival at our office in Babeli or prior to the start of the activity, as mutually agreed. 1.2. Documentation: All participants must carry a valid Government-issued Photo ID (Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter ID, or Passport). PAN Cards are generally not accepted as sole ID proof. Foreign nationals must present their Passport and Visa details upon arrival.
2. Safety and Eligibility
2.1. Health and Fitness: Participants must be physically and mentally fit. The activities are not recommended for: * Pregnant women. * Individuals with chronic back/neck pain, heart conditions, severe asthma, epilepsy, recent major surgery, or height-related phobias (for Paragliding). 2.2. Weight/Age Limits (Approximate): * Paragliding: Minimum weight is typically 30-35 kg, and the maximum is strictly 85-90 kg (subject to pilot discretion and wind conditions). Minimum age is usually 12-14 years. * Rafting: Minimum age is typically 8-10 years. 2.3. Compliance: All participants must strictly adhere to the instructions given by the certified pilot, rafting guide, and support staff. Non-compliance with safety instructions may result in immediate cancellation of the activity without a refund. 2.4. Intoxication: Use or consumption of alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substance is strictly prohibited before or during the activities. Any participant found to be under the influence will be denied participation without a refund.
3. Liability and Risk
3.1. Adventure Risk: All adventure sports carry inherent risks. By booking, the participant acknowledges and accepts these risks. Thakur Paragliding and Rafting and its staff are not liable for any injury, accident, or death sustained during the activity. 3.2. Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings (phones, cameras, jewelry, wallets, etc.) during the activity or at the activity site. 3.3. Equipment Damage: Any damage caused to our equipment (rafts, life jackets, helmets, paragliding gear) due to negligence or deliberate action by the participant will be charged at actual cost.
